Dr Stephen Baum

Graduated from University of Melbourne 1981

Did basic physician training and spent 3 years additional training in General Medicine and Intensive Care at Repatriation General Hospital in Heidelberg.

After getting married, he decided to specialize in family medicine in 1986 and attained his FRACGP.

Apart from family medicine, has a special interest in Asthma and Respiratory Medicine, Diabetes and Sports Medicine.

He enjoys all sports including tennis, golf and pilates and is married with 2 girls and 1 cavoodle (Basil). He is a long-suffering but passionate supporter of the Richmond Football team.

Dr Nick Spanos

Graduated from Melbourne University in 1993. He soon decided that his passion was for a career in General Medicine and he commenced his training as early as possible. He completed further training in Obstetrics, Paediatrics and Psychiatry in preparation for a career in General Practice.

He obtained a fellowship in General Practice in 1998. He has loved working at Endeavour Hills Medical Centre for the last 15 years.
His special interests include Children’s Health, Chronic Disease Management and providing care to members of the Greek community.

He is available to see new patients at request. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, keeping fit, running and working in his garden.

Dr Joanne Keecha

Graduated from Monash University in 1995 and completed her Fellowship of General Practice in 2000.

She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has special interest in Women’s Health and Paediatrics.

She works full time at the clinic. When not working, she enjoys reading, music, running and spending time with her family.

Dr Edgar Keecha

Dr Keecha studied at the University of Queensland after working in disability support for several years inspired him to pursue Medicine.

After working at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and The Alfred Hospital, he completed his General Practice training at Endeavour Hills Medical Centre, where he has remained working since 2010.

He is a generalist, but has special interests in Paediatric Medicine, Chronic Disease Management, Allergies and Gastrointestinal Diseases. He is a practitioner of the Biopsychosocial model of Medicine and is a passionate patient advocate.

Dr Keecha is known for his friendliness and enjoys watching movies, singing/karaoke, all things sports (especially his beloved North Melbourne) and spending time with his wife and sons.

Jayasinghe

Dr Malithi Jayasinghe

She has practiced as a Doctor at the Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and Frankston Hospital since 1996. She commenced her career in General Practice in 2004.

She completed her Fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP) in 2006. She is interested in all aspects of Family Medicine, with special areas of interest in Women’s Health and Paediatrics.

Dr Jayasinghe also speaks fluent Sinhala. She is a proud mother of two teenage children and enjoys time with the family.

Dr Jayasinghe is available for consultations from Monday to Thursday and some Saturdays – she no longer sees Workcover or TAC patients.

She speaks Hungarian.

She is a fellow of the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners.

Dr Stehanie Parker

Stephanie completed a Doctor of Medicine at Deakin University and also holds a PhD in pharmaceutics from Monash University. Prior to her career in medicine, Steph worked in the development of new medicines in the pharmaceutical industry. She enjoys the diversity of general practice and appreciates the opportunity to build relationships with patients over time.

Steph has special interest in womens’ health, menopause management and athlete health. Outside of general practice, Steph enjoys running, playing basketball, scuba diving and spending time with her young family.

Dr Neethu Pynadath

Neethu has over 7 years of clinical experience in various specialties including in General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Mental Health.

Since completing her medical degree at Bond University, she enjoys all aspects of General practice with a special interest in women’s and mental health. She has also completed a Certificate of Child Health (previously known as Diploma of Child Health).

Neethu is passionate about holistic healthcare and empowering patients in their individual health decisions.

Outside of work, Neethu enjoys singing and dancing, particularly to Indian Bollywood music.

Dr Michael Cahill

Dr Michael Cahill graduated from Monash University in 2018. He completed a rural internship at Albury-Wodonga Health before returning to Monash Health in 2020, where he spent four years training as an emergency medicine registrar. During this time, he managed a broad spectrum of presentations across all age groups, from minor injuries to acute, life-threatening conditions.

Dr Cahill is now undertaking general practice training, with a focus on providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to the community. He has recent experience working in general practice at Cheltenham Medical Centre, where he developed the skills required for high-quality, continuity-based care in the GP setting.

Prior to studying medicine, Dr Cahill worked as a medical scientist in multiple pathology laboratories across Victoria and New South Wales, giving him a strong foundation in diagnostic medicine and evidence-based practice.

Outside of work, Dr Cahill enjoys spending time with his two young daughters, exploring food in all its forms, reading, and watching films. He also appreciates the more balanced lifestyle that general practice offers, including the opportunity for longer walks and fewer overnight shifts.
